Call for Plants

CEBA Club Members, we are looking for volunteers who can lend a helping hand this Friday!  Members will be showing up 09:30 AM to help apply mulch and fertilizer to the beds.

Bring a rake, a shovel, gloves and bottle water.  The Master Gardeners normally work just the morning hours, but they get a lot done every time they show up!  If you can help, just come on out to Oatland.  If you get there before 10 AM, press the blue button to call the Front Desk.  Let them know you are there to work in the bee yard.
As our Apiary landscaping at Oatland Island begins to take shape we invite you as CEBA Club members to suggest and donate plants that have been excellent bee forage from your gardens and properties.  If you have cuttings or plantings that might be appropriate please send our Master Gardener, Faith Sadley, ( an e-mail with the name of the plant, when it blooms and what sort of cuttings/plants you have to donate.

We are most interested in native local plants that have flourished in our soils and temperatures and that take a minimum of care and feeding.   We would also be grateful for your help planting our Apiary garden and will send out an e-mail notification when our Master Gardeners schedule a work day – please come and join us!!!!!

Thank you in advance for your suggestions, donations and help.
